When you have seen the multifarious tour programme from Altenmarkt and Obertauern for the first time, the motto could be "Take-off and go". Day tours in all directions... To Corinthia, into the Steiermark, to Italy and Slovenia, Tirol or up to the Großglockner!

Favourite Tour: DREILÄNDERTOUR (Three country corner tour) Austria, Italy and Slovenia. From Obertauern heading in the direction of Katschberg, Windische Höhe and to Nassfeld. Continuing on to Italy, Pontebba, Tarvis, along the Passo Predil to Slovenia into the Socatal Valley and over the Vrsicpass back to Austria. Across the Wurzenpass to Villach, around the Millstädter Lake, into the Liesertal, to Inner- krems, Schönfeld, Mauterndorf and Obertauern. 395 km, of which the enjoyment of the landscape meets the fun of riding the curves. A stop at Restaurant Lepena, shortly before Soca, is highly recommended: Romantic location, outstanding kitchen and an idyllic canyon right next door that one should definitely take a look at.

Attractions: Porsche Museum in Gmünd, Kolnbreinsperre (Austria´s largest dam) in the Malta Valley, Günster Waterfalls, City of Salzburg, Moosham and Mauterndorf Castles, Ice Caves, Salzburg Ring, Hohenwerfen Fortress, Liechtenstein Canyon, ... .
